PRESS RELEASE- Helene Cleanup Update
So far, as of 10/27/24, 88 loads of debris, totaling 2,341 cubic yards, have been removed across Haywood County. To put that in perspective, that’s about 10,000 times as big as a bathtub. This number doesn’t include debris pickup in the towns.
Cleanup efforts are ongoing. Stay tuned for more updates.
